Gala-Evening Took Place

The first gala-evening of "Family Rescue Fund" took place on the 5th of June, 2016 in "Arbat" banquet hall in Burbank, California. Charitable evenings of “Semi-Opened Windows’’ has become annual due to caring people living over the ocean.

The title of the evening was “Black and White”. The way leading from black to white is long and difficult, but it is always possible. The title of the evening has only one aim - to open the HOPE DOOR for living ‘’in black’’ needy families, taking them towards ‘’white’’- light, warmth and love. The symbol of the evening was the key, as a sign to open the locked doors, to overcome the difficulties, to tranform from black to white.

An exhibition and sale of beautiful items was also held during the evening. Harut Pambukchyan’s guitar with singer's signature was also among the exhibited donated items.

There was Michael Aram world-wide known brand sculpture “Freedom” of Atelie collection, that costs 5500 dollars. It was created only in 25 copies. Michael Aram's works from silverware to flatware are sold in different exhibition halls of the world in more than 600 specialized stores. Designer’s ethnic origin is obvious in many of his works. This unique work was presented by Naz Atikyan-Babkijyan, manager of the based in Los Angeles "La Papiyon" souvenir shop.

The sum in 102.000 USD was raised during the charity evening. Sponsors of the evening: "Wells Fargo" Bank and "United Helter Kriar" College, Hamo Movsisyan Attorney Corporation, Right Choice Home Health and Michael Aram also made their donations.

Beno Nersisyan, Boris Baghdasaryan, Nubar Bogosyan as well as Fredrik Bogosyan and Panorama Hospis also took part in charity action.
